Custom applications designed, built, deployed, and maintained by the people who wrote them. We also build and run products of our own — so we live with the same decisions we ask you to make.
01 — What we do
Four stages, one team.
Software isn't a thing you buy once. It's designed, built, put into service, and then improved for as long as it's useful. Most firms sell you one of those stages and disappear. We do all four, which means nobody gets to blame the previous vendor.

Design
Before anything is written we work out what should exist. What the software has to do, who touches it, and what it must never break. Cheaper to change a diagram than a database.

Build
Web and mobile applications built around how your business actually works. You see working software early and often — not a status report claiming progress you can't inspect.

Deploy
Into your environment, with the infrastructure it needs, the monitoring to know it's healthy, and the documentation to prove how it works. Handover is a document, not a phone call.

Maintain
Dependencies age, requirements shift, and browsers change under you. We keep it current and ship improvements on a schedule you can plan around.
What we don't do: help desk. We won't reset passwords, fix printers, or manage your workstations. If that's what you need, say so and we'll point you to a managed IT provider who's good at it — that's a different craft and we'd be pretending.

Alvankra Assets is asset management for companies that have outgrown the spreadsheet but don't want enterprise software priced for a thousand seats. It's in active development — and there's a working version on this site you can use right now.

03 — How we work
Small, direct, and not hard to leave.
Small on purpose
We take on work we can do properly. When something isn't a fit we say so, rather than stretching to fill an invoice.
Nothing you can't walk away from
Your code, your accounts, your data, documented and in your name. Leaving should always be possible — that's what makes staying a choice.

A sentence about the problem is more useful than a formal brief. If we're not the right fit we'll say so, and point you somewhere better.
